As a newly registered charitable organization, EOS invites you to spend giving Tuesday supporting the great work we do across the Memramcook-Tantramar region and beyond.
Some of the recent impacts we’ve had include:
| ▪ |
Creating compost systems at local schools and teaching students about waste reduction |
| ▪ |
Helping local businesses to save energy and take steps to be sustainable through our new Green Shops Program (if you are an interested local business, there’s still time to join!) |
| ▪ |
Coordinating Renewables NB, a resource for all things renewable energy in NB |
| ▪ |
Hosting workshops on topics such as water conservation, renewable energy, natural infrastructure and so much more! |
EOS has applied for funding to offer many more projects in the coming months including a free home flood risk assessment program, a rebate program to help low income homeowners afford flood mitigation such as sump pumps etc., renewable energy education for homeowners and schools, water quality monitoring in Cape Tormentine watershed, educational workshops, and more.
This Giving Tuesday, if you are interested in donating to EOS in support of our work, we would love to hear from you. EOS can now provide charitable tax receipts for all donations. Send your donations via a cheque in the mail or e-transfer to eos(at)nb.aibn.com.
Whether or not you are able to donate to EOS, we thank you so much for caring about the environment and climate action.
Happy holidays!
The EOS Eco-Energy Team
