1. To protect the environment and its biodiversity for the benefit of the public by conducting research, community planning and tangible projects on climate change issues including renewable energy, energy conservation and efficiency, green transportation, waste reduction, climate change adaptation, watershed management, and sustainable community planning
2. To advance education related to climate change mitigation and adaption for schools, post-secondary institutions, community groups, businesses, governments and the broader public by providing workshops, presentations, information booths, hands-on learning, site tours, social media campaigns, and other programs on renewable energy, energy conservation and efficiency, green transportation, waste reduction, climate change adaptation, emergency preparedness, watershed management, and sustainable community planning.
