EOS is happy (and also sad) to announce that our long-time Executive Director Amanda Marlin has recently accepted an offer to be the new Climate Change Adaptation Learning and Training Coordinator at ClimAtlantic. Starting in mid-November she will be working with communities across the Atlantic region to build capacity for climate adaptation. We wish Amanda all the best in her new position!
We are also excited to share that Brittany Cormier, our current climate change projects manager, will be the new Executive Director at EOS. Brittany has been working with EOS coordinating municipal climate action projects for the municipality of Tantramar, and leading the watershed monitoring and climate change adaptation projects. She has previous ED experience, many years working in the environmental non-profit sector, and will work hard to continue the EOS initiatives in our communities. Congrats Brittany!
