2013 – Annual General Meeting

EOS is a community-based organization. The Board of EOS includes a municipal representative from each member municipality (Dorchester, Port Elgin, Memramcook and Sackville), a representative from Mount Allison University, a representative from the United Church of Canada, a student from Mount Allison University’s (student-based EcoAction group), plus several members of our communities who share an interest in energy sustainability.
                                                                                                               

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the Board.  We all have very busy schedules and your time is very much appreciated. I strongly encourage you to continue to help in any way you can.

Since our last AGM, EOS has grown with new employees and projects. We were sad to see Katie Friars go but we sincerely wish her all the best in her future projects and a big thank you for all the work you did for EOS, bravo! With the departure of Katie we hired a new executive director. I can honestly say Joni Fleck Andrews has taken the challenge face on and continues to grow in her new position. Excellent work Joni looking forward to working with you again in the next year.

Thanks also go to our other employees: Amanda Marlin, Lisa Griffin, Meggie MacMichael, and Jake Vecia. Wow! EOS is now known far and wide – Great work the 4 of you! You will hear more about their great work tonight!
