Meet Our Team

Executive Director

Brittany Cormier (she/her)

Brittany stepped into the Executive Director role of EOS Eco-Energy after the incredible decade-long leadership of Amanda Marlin at the helm. Hired by Amanda into the EOS team in 2022, Brittany began as the Sackville Climate Change Coordinator from which she transitioned to Tantramar’s coordinator and EOS climate change projects manager in 2023. She now leads the climate change adaptation and watershed projects within her role as ED. Brittany has a multidisciplinary educational background during which she completed the University of King’s College’s Foundation Year Programme, studied in International Development at Dalhousie University in Halifax, and graduated from Mount Allison University in with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Environmental Studies with a focus on environmental policies.

Green Projects Manager

Caitlin McNamara (she/her)

Caitlin is a young professional who is still fairly new to New Brunswick, she has a broad background in science and agriculture, with a recent splash of community research and development within Tantramar. Caitlin obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry in Ontario, and followed it up with Plant Science Technology and Cool Climate Wine and Viticulture in Nova Scotia. After managing a small organic vineyard at an Annapolis Valley winery for a number of years, she decided to branch out into more community-based work when she moved to New Brunswick last fall. Caitlin is eager to work with EOS and the Sackville Community Garden to promote the local green spaces, and she hopes to get everyone excited about growing plants and learning about the environment around them!

Climate Change Projects Manager

Janie Brooks (they/them)

After graduating from Mount Allison University with a BSc Honours in Biology in 2023, Janie started working as the Climate Change & Sustainability Coordinator for EOS and the Municipality of Tantramar. Now Climate Change Projects Manager, they oversee the climate change adaptation and energy projects. Janie especially enjoys the education and outreach components in their work.
