EOS Organizing 2nd Water Sampling Blitz This Saturday

EOS is organizing a 2nd water sampling blitz day this Saturday, September 1st, 2018. Find full details in the poster below. Come to an EOS station in Baie Verte, Cape Tormentine or Murray Corner to get a bottle. Then grab a sample from your favourite swimming spot, fishing hole, stream, lake, beach, etc. (not for tap water) and bring the sample back. EOS will then test the samples for bacteria in partnership with the Campbell Lab at Mount Allison University.  For research purposes and in order to compare results with the original blitz, which took place during a rainy day, this FREE event only go ahead if the weather is dry. Funding for this project has been provided by the New Brunswick Environmental Trust Fund. For questions, please contact EOS watershed coordinator Kelli-Nicole Croucher.
